Velvet Dosa – the name might sound fancy but this feels like it is soft like velvet. Adding fenugreek will add some healthy touch to this.  I have made this and tastes good too. Enjoy the softness of velvet and taste. In fact the name is liked by my son, who is very fond of fancy names.
Rice- 2 cups – add boiling water and close.
Black gram dhal – 1/4 cup
Fenugreek –1 table spoon
Curds- 1 cup
Salt to taste
soda powder – 1/2 tea spoon
  1. First grind dhal and fenugreek
  2. When they are half grinded add rice and grind to smooth batter.
  3. Add curd to it , allow the batter to ferment whole night.
  4. Next day mix soda powder and salt.
  5. Pour with the ladle and spread dosa
  6. Roast single side and serve hot.
