Aloo Poori is a good change in the menu. May not be good in terms of calories but excellent in taste. Simple to make and does not involve much of work.
I say that this is not good in terms of calories, because it is a deep fried item and lot of carbs included in it.
  • Wheat flour-2cups
  • Potatoes-Medium sized-2
  • Red Chilli powder-2 table spoon
  • Coriander seeds powder-2 table spoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
Method of Preparation
  • Boil the potatoes smash it completely after draining water.
  • Add all the other ingredients and mix a tight dough just before 10 minutes you prepare the poori’s.
  • Roll out into poori’s using rice flour to knead.
  • Deep fry in hot oil
  • Serve hot.

This can be used as both tiffin and also as meal course. Best with side dishes like aloo korma or pickles too.
