Tamarind Rasam

Ingredients Required:

water: 2 litres

lemon: marble size

salt: 1 spoon

pungent powder: 1 spoon

jaggery: a little

mustard: 1 spoon

asafoetida: 1 pinch

ghee: for seasoning

Method of Preparation:

pour some water in a vessel and put the same on the stove. when the water is boiling add jaggery, salt, pugent powder and squeeze the tamarind well and add its juice to boiling water. afterwards season the same with mustard and asafoetida.
