Wheat flour dosa- Dosa for diabetics

Wheat flour dosa is good for diabetics. Made of Wheat flour which is recommended for diabetics. wheat flour adds less blood sugar compared to rice flour. Ingredients: Rice flour-1cup Green chilli paste-1 table spoon Wheat flour –1 cup Onions – 2cups Oil- 3 table spoon Coriander leaves- little Fresh coconut- little Salt to taste. Method: Mix wheat flour, rice flour using water to dosa batter consistency. Add the seasonings, chopped onions, coriander leaves, fresh coconut. Set Dosa – Filling Breakfast

Ingredients: Rice- 1 1/2 cup Blackgram dal-1/2 cup Boiled Rice-1 1/2cup Medium Rice Flakes – 1/2cup Maida-1/4 cup Rice Flour-1/4 cup Baking Soda -1/2 TSp Salt – To Taste Method: Soak the rice, boiled rice,black gram in a vessel. Soak the  rice flakes separately. After 6-8 hours grind all of them to smooth batter in wet grinder. SOFT DOSA

Ingredients:Rice-2cupsBoiled rice-1cupblack gram dhal-1/4 cupRice flakes-1/4 cupmaida-1 table spoonSugar-2 table spoonsSoda powder-1/2 tea spoonFenugreek seeds-1 tablespoonMethod:Soak rice and dhal’s ,fenugreek and grind well to the smooth batter at the last mix maida with water  and add to the batter. Allow the batter to ferment over night , Morning add soda powder and salt to the batter, pour a laddle full of batter on the pan spread the dosa pour a table spoon of oil over it and roast in low flame and serve hot soft dosa with coconut chutney.

RICE FLAKES DOSA

Ingredients:Rice-2cupsMedium rice flakes –3/4cupCurds-3/4 cupSoda powder-1/2tea spoonSalt to tasteMethod: Wash rice and rice flakes and soak them in curds for 4-5 hours.Grind to a smooth batter,allow to ferment over night.Mix salt and soda powder  on the following day.Make the dosa’s to the pan and roast one side only and serve hot.

MAIDA DOSA

Ingredients:Maida-2 cupsRice flour-1cupCurds-1/2 cupGreen chilies-5 chop finelyMustard seeds-1/2 table spoonCurry and Coriander leaves- littleSalt to taste.Oil-for fryingMethod: In a vessel take a table spoon of oil and  add mustard seeds when they splutter add curry and coriander leaves and green chilies and add to the batter.              Mix all the ingredients in water to dosa batter consistency,pour the dosa over the tawa and roast both the sides and serve hot. These dosa’s are better to pour than spreading..If you want add the onion and ginger pieces. serve hot with  coconut chutney or green chutney.
