There is a good railway network passing through Kadiri. The nearest aerodrome is in Puttaparthi, which is connected to major cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai.
When you are going from Hyderabad to Penukonda you need to take the Bangalore road. After crossing Kurnool (210km), take the Bangalore highway from the Bypass road without entering Kurnool. You will cross ullinda Konda, Veldurthi, Dhone, Kotha Kota, Gooty and Anantapur. From Anantapur follow the NH205 towards Kadiri. The journey from Anantapur to Kadiri is of about 1hr 30minutes to 2 hours when driving on your own.
