Mango Rasam

Ingredients Required for Mango Rasam

sour mangoes: 2 nos.

salt: as per your taste

jaggery: 1 piece

mustard: for seasoning

green chillies: 4 nos.

Method of Preparation:

pour one litre water in a vessel. put the cut pieces of mangoes, green chillies in it. when it. when it is half boiled (do not boil it completely). dram off the water and pound it in a stone mortar and remove the same n a steel vessel. add salt, jaggery and boil further. when the same is boiled well, season it in ghee with mustard and asafoetida.

Mango Rasam can only be made when you have the green Mango available. This is one of the tastiest veriety of this humble liquid which tastes really great.
