Lemon Thokku

Ingredients Required:

lemon: 10nos

dry chillies: 15nos

fenugreek: 1 spoon

mustard: 1 spoon

jaggery: 6gms

oil: 4 spoons

salt: according to your taste

asafoetida: one pinch

Method of Preparation:

keep the frying pan on the stove and pour some oil. when the oil is heated up, add mustard, fenugreek seed, asafoetida, dry chillies and fry the same.’

cut the lemon into very small pieces. add to the mixed items and grind well as pastry. then season it with mustard. if you like you can add little jaggery.
