keep a vessel on the stove with 2 cups of water. add 1/2 a cup of thor dhal and boil for some time, to get recine. then, add juice of one lemon and boil the same. when it is boiling add one teaspoon pungent powder,salt as per the taste required by you, put coriander leaves and boil for some more time. season the same in ghee putting mustard, and asafoetida.
